KnowGravity Inc.
KnowGravity is a consultancy and IT services company based in Zürich, Switzerland. Although KnowGravity was started only in 2001, we have worked with its founders for more than 15 years. KnowGravity can provide consultancy, project support and knowledge transfer. Its modeliing environment, KnowEnterprise, based on the Artisan platform, supports Object Management Group specifications with an integrated set of modelling tools that share a single repository. They include the Business Motivation Model (BMM), Semantics of Business Vocabulary and Business Rules (SBVR), Business Process Definition Metamodel (BPDM), Business Proces Modeling Notation (BPMN), Unified Modeling Language (UML) and System Modeling Language (SysML).
We collaborate on methodology and training development, and on joint project work. Knowgravity is able to present much of the Model Systems training material (see our training page) in German, usually with course materials in English.
Business Semantics
Business Semantics Ltd, based in London, is focused on business descriptions and models in business language for business people, with a focus on business vocabulary, business policies and business rules and their development, management and deployment. Its principal consultant, Donald Chapin, is the leading authority on the OMG's Semantics of Business Vocabulary and Business Rules (SBVR).
We collaborate on methodology and on joint project work, and on promotion of SBVR in Europe.
Inferware
Founded in 2004, Inferware Corp is a services, software solutions and products company based in Boston, MA, USA. Its main focus is on providing services and platforms for enterprise policy and regulatory compliance across verticals using a standards-based approach. Inferware can provide consulting support, knowledge transfer, mentoring and policy management tools.

Xactium
Xactium is a software developer and consulting company based in Sheffield, UK. It has developed the first fully-compliant tool supporting the Object Management Group's Business Motivation Model (BMM), in both client-server and web-based architectures, respectively BizModeler and BizForce

Zachman International and ZIFA
John Zachman, of Zachman International first published his framework for enterprise architecture in 1986, since when it has been adopted in many organizations world-wide. Model Systems uses the Zachman framework as its frame of reference for architecture and methodology development. We have been associated with John Zachman for more than 17 years, and are recommended by John for Framework support in Europe.
We are collaborating on custumization and used of the recebtly-revised standards for the Zachman Framework
The Zachman Institute for Framework Advancement (ZIFA) is "a network of information professionals who understand the critical role of enterprise architecture in the ability of the enterprise to participate successfully in the global economy of the 21st century". Model Systems is a ZIFA associate.
Business Rules Group
Originally a project within GUIDE International, the Business Rules Group is an independent organization. Its membership comprises experienced practitioners in the field of systems and business analysis methodology, working in both public and private sectors.
The group's charter is "to formulate statements and supporting standards about the nature and structure of business rules, the relationship of business rules with the way an enterprise is organized, and the relationship of business rules with system architectures". It has published several influential reports, availabe from its web site.
Model Systems is a charter member of the Business Rules Group, and regards other members as trusted associates with whom it can form collaborations for joint clients.
